About ShellyBorn and raised in Carson City, Nevada, Shelly is a graphic designer by trade and an avid hiker in her free time. She, her husband Eric (lucky guy is retired) and two canine trail best buddies Roscoe and Kit moved to Westcliffe in 2021. Since then she has explored the wonderful trails of the Wet Mountain Valley on the regular – Dry Lakes, Mosca Pass and Phantom Trail are her three faves with nonstop Rainbow Trail rambles and a 14er on the horizon.
She is eternally thankful for the inaugural leadership at Trails for All — having established such a terrific group of Volunteers, Board Members and Interested Persons who help maintain, promote and enhance our trails as a partner with the United States Forest Service. Come join us for a walk and work in the woods! Fun Facts: Shelly has visited all 50 states, lived in New York City in the early 90s and Northern California for the next 25 years before moving to Colorado, loves to travel, is an early riser, an avowed hot tubber, a voracious reader and friends attest to some pretty epic baking skills. |
