South Colony Outreach Days

Trails for All was joined by Custer County SAR and Rocky Mountain Back Country Horsemen for a 2-day Outreach Event this past weekend at both the lower and upper parking areas at South Colony Trailhead. Greeting and talking with hikers, climbers and campers, everyone was thrilled with their adventure whether it was reaching the Lakes, climbing Humboldt, a ramble on the Rainbow Trail to Crystal Falls or reaching the Crestone Traverse. Our teams handed out stickers, patches and informational items about safe hiking and COTREX -- along with Leave No Trace/Do Colorado Right signage. We had a blast sharing some key information as well as learning what visitors accomplished in the Wet Mountain Valley!
