Cottonwood Trail Maintenance Day
On July 11 a great crew of ten intrepid Trails for All volunteers performed trail maintenance on Cottonwood Creek Trail in the Sangres. They cleared all the deadfalls (downed trees) and daylighted (cut encroaching brush and branches) all the way to the first big meadow (about 3 miles up from the intersection with the Rainbow Trail). So, hikers and equestrians check out this trail and enjoy! Special thanks for their hard work, dedication, and long hike goes to Todd, Sam, Antoine, Matt, Doris, Chuck, Raven, Mickey, Jack, and Shelly!
